Cuba Lost Two Thirds of Its Visitors and Three Hotel Chains. Caribbean Tourism Meets in Georgetown in October.

Cuba drew 419,863 international visitors between January and July 2026, 37.2 per cent of the same period in 2025, on ONEI figures. Melia, Iberostar and Royalton suspended contracts. Caribbean tourism leaders convene in Georgetown from 5 October for SOTIC 2026.

MSC Puts Its Newest Flagship in the Southern Caribbean and Takes MSC Meraviglia Off the Route

MSC Cruises will send its new flagship MSC World Asia to the Southern Caribbean for Winter 2027/2028, the line said on 20 August, taking the deployment MSC Meraviglia had been scheduled to run. Three ships moved at once.
