Guyana Has Declared a Road Corridor From Heroes Highway to the Ogle/Timehri Highway a Public Work. The Parcels Inside It Have Not Been Identified Yet.

Order No. 182 of 2026, published on 10 October, declares a road extension across the East Bank and East Coast of Demerara a public work and authorises the state to enter the land to survey it. The schedule says the parcels inside await a cadastral survey.

Five Orders in One Gazette Moved 2,368 Acres Out of the State Holding Company. All but Half an Acre Went to the Housing Authority.

Orders No. 183 to 187 of 2026, published on 10 October, each vest land belonging to National Industrial and Commercial Investments Limited in a state body absolutely, free and clear from all claims and liabilities. Four of the five name the housing authority.
