GEORGETOWN, Guyana, April 21, 2026 — The Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association (GMSA) will host UncappeD Marketplace 2026 on August 15 to 16 at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence, with more than 100 agro-processors and entrepreneurs expected to exhibit over two days.
The event, now approaching its tenth year, has grown steadily since its first edition at the Sophia Exhibition Centre, which drew roughly 60 exhibitors and more than 5,000 visitors. By 2022, the marketplace had expanded to more than 65 vendors after returning from a two-year COVID hiatus. The 2025 edition brought together more than 100 local entrepreneurs at the same Providence venue.
Exhibitors such as Women's Haven Guyana, will offer locally made products including sauces, seasonings, snacks and skincare items. Vendors who are GMSA members exhibit at no cost, a model the association has maintained since the event's launch. Admission is free to the public.
GMSA has also expanded UncappeD beyond the physical marketplace. In 2025, the association launched an online UncappeD portal in partnership with the International Trade Centre under a European Union-funded programme, with at least 30 businesses now selling through the platform nationwide.
